Singapore's StarHub customers will get first rights began July 17 according to Samsung's press release, followed by other regions in Asia and Europe later this year. For North America, apparently still floating.

There are several features that make people able to open. Carrying Android OS version 2.1 with a thickness of 0.6 inches, 5.5 ounces Beam offers the same features as the one on the other Galaxy smartphone.

Front and center is the Super 3.7-inch AMOLED screen, slightly smaller than the screen Super 4-inch AMOLED, an 8-megapixel camera on the back, plus a VGA-quality lens at the front for video chat, integrated FM radio, plus Wi-Fi standard , Bluetooth, and GPS support.

What stands out is actually a built-in pico projector on the beam, supported by Texas Instrument's DLP technology.

Tiny projector started making a breakthrough in compact devices and other portable devices. But the device was still struggling to gain a foothold in the mobile market.

Samsung already has several mobile medium with DLP pico projector in it, and LG has a handset with a projector for AT & T last year. But Beam marks the first smartphone with a pico projector itself.

Unboxing X10 mini pro with Maria Sharapova

Last week I got a call from Rikard Skogberg, who just got a little daughter (congratulations!), asking me if I could record an unboxing video of the X10 mini pro. Together with Maria Sharapova. What do you say to this? Sorry, I got some travel expenses to complete but… Of course not! You go out of your way to make it happen because you go the chance to do a really cool unboxing video. For you guys how don't know it: Maria Sharapova is the official Sony Ericsson brand ambassador and she visited the Sony Ericsson site in Lund, Sweden, Friday last week.
My name is Albin Olofsson and work as a community manager at Developer World here at Sony Ericsson and you might have seen (or heard me) in some videos on Youtube for the Sony Ericsson Developer blog but also some for the Products blog.
In the video you get to see the box and the box content neatly commented by Maria. As usual the box content can differ between different markets and operator configurations but what you see Maria picking out of the box should be standard for all markets (phone, USB-cable, charger, stereo headset, documentation).
While filming and talking to Maria I guess I got a bit carried away and managed to say that there is online support in the phone which is not the case. I am actually referring to the user support app that is available in the phone.
Some of you might have noticed (especially since it is pointed out a couple of times in the video) that some cuts are filmed with the Sony Ericsson Vivaz phone in 720p HD, which is the camera Rikard and Gustav have used for previous unboxing videos. The cool thing here is that it is actually possible to mix shots from Vivaz with shots from a semi professional HD video camera and you don't really see a big difference.
I hope you will like the video, if was definitely fun to do. Thanks a bunch to Rikard for this opportunity!

Blackberry Storm 3 Specification
June 30, 2010 at 8:30 AM

RIM will present the latest generation of Storm, Blackberry Storm 3. This information was obtained from a reliable source of Salomondrin. If true, RIM has demonstrated a serious attitude to develop a touchscreen BlackBerry in addition to the physical QWERTY keyboard.

Blackberry Storm's third prototype is being tested by the team reportedly exclusively with few members, this is done to prevent the early leak of this phone. Even the order and body also made exactly the same as the Blackberry Storm 2 to maintain when the prototype is missing on photo.

Blackberry Storm 3 will get various enhancements, such as:

* The screen supports a new input method, but still use different Sure Press Storm 2 (still unclear)
* Processor speed 1GHz
* 8GB Internal Memory
* Flash Memory 1 GB (previously rumored to 512MB)
* Special OS which is completely different, not OS 6.0
* Able to support the widget and change the display according to taste
* 5MP Camera
* Support networks LTE (Long Term Evolution)

Specifications are far above the other Blackberry that has been circulating today, it can still change, but not far from the Blackberry Storm 3 Specification given.

Blackberry Storm 3 is also expected to be coupled by Verizon. When will be announced? only some people know today. Just wait for news of this development.
